Suean Pascoe
Zedu Ultrasound Training Solutions
Suean Pascoe is a sonographer, educator and director of Zedu Ultrasound Training Solutions, a private education organisation based in Melbourne, Australia.
Suean’s passion lies in seeing people from every medical specialty excel in developing ultrasound skills – fast. Her approach is to combine the theoretical with the pragmatic, with a focus on ensuring that learners leave with practical skills relevant to their clinical context.
The reputation of the programs delivered at Zedu means Suean is highly sought after as a speaker and tutor at ultrasound conferences. Her current research focus is on the effects that the development and integration of a common lexicon for ultrasound teaching can have on the learning and teaching experience.
Myra Theisz
Zedu Ultrasound Training Solutions
Myra embarked on my professional journey as a paramedic with Ambulance Victoria, where she learned (often the hard way) a great deal about communication, consent, respect, and compassion. Eventually, she switched gears into the world of ultrasound, finding new ways to utilise her experience, knowledge, and skills as a generalist sonographer.
Myra has worn the hats of (paramedic) Clinical Instructor, Tutor Sonographer, Chief Sonographer, and now Lead Sonographer Educator. She has lived experience as sister, wife, and mother to neurodivergent individuals, as well as extensive experience as a volunteer (including two years as chair of the board of directors) at an independent Victorian primary school supporting and embracing neurodiversity. I am committed to the utmost in patient care, with a focus on respect, compassion, and effective communication. I love lateral thinking, problem solving, and have a passion for ongoing education.
