The ASA is currently seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from ASA New Zealand Accredited Medical Sonographer and New Zealand student sonographer members to join the New Zealand Sonographers Advisory Group (NZSAG). EOIs are due by midnight 4 December 2024.

Expression of interest - New Zealand Sonographers Advisory Group (NZSAG)
Description
The purpose of this advisory group is to provide New Zealand related policy and advocacy advice and support to the ASA. This includes identifying key policy issues and sector changes, providing insight to support ASA consultations and stakeholder engagement, and providing feedback on professional statements and guidelines to ensure it reflects New Zealand sonographers.
NZSAG meets 3-4 times per year, online, with meetings lasting up to 1.5 hours. Additional discussions take place online as needed, via the ASA’s committee portal. The ASA provides all secretariat duties.

- Write an EOI of under 500 words stating why you want to join the NZSAG and the relevant skills and experience that you would bring to the role.
