I have been Sonographer for 28years in Fiji however without proper qualification.
Currently I am undertaking a Master of Medical Ultrasound online with Monash University, Australia.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Science from Fiji School of Medicine (now Fiji National University) in 1989.
Throughout my career journey, I have developed a practical foundation in ultrasound techniques, anatomy, and pathology.
I have also gained hands-on experience during my 28 years of work as a sonographer in Fiji where I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of ultrasound examinations such as Abdominal scan, Pelvic, Obstetrics including Anomaly scans, Thyroid, Breasts, Scrotal, Prostate, MSK and Doppler studies.
The ultrasound equipment that I had used are HS40 Duplex scanner, HS75, Acuson S2000, Samsung, Philips and Mindray scanner.
During my years or work, I have demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which I believe are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic, which I believe are crucial qualities for a successful Trainee Sonographer.
I am confident that my academic background, clinical experience, and passion for ultrasound make me a strong candidate for a Trainee Sonographer position and I am eager to contribute to the success of your team and further develop my skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
