With only 11 percent of the public aware that it is a sonographer who performs their ultrasound the ASA is committed to raising awareness of the role of a sonographer and that they are the experts in ultrasound.

The ASA is committed to positioning the sonographer as the expert and principle provider of diagnostic ultrasound with a number of campaigns already initiated and more to come.
