Feedback is essential for growth. It helps us understand the impact we are making in the workplace, how others see us, and how we can improve.
But giving feedback is not always easy. And if the thought of it makes you uneasy, you are not alone. So, how do you get past the nerves and share a clear, compassionate, and concise message?
In this course you will learn what feedback is, why it is important in the clinical setting, differentiate between formative and summative feedback, learn how to redirect ineffective behaviours and reinforce effective behaviours, how to overcome the fear of giving feedback. You will also learn to follow a step-by-step feedback process, how to deliver an effective message, and how to handle difficult reactions.
This course should take approximately 1.5hours to complete. ASA members will receive 1.5 CPD points on completion.
