The Australasian Sonographers Association is excited to announce a enhanced format for the Paediatric Seminar in Geelong VIC.

Scanning children is often considered challenging. Some Sonographers dread paediatrics and some thrive on it.
This event will endeavour to bring you into the latter category - ready and raring to get your nursery rhymes and high frequency tranducers out!

Sara Kernick will present on the most common paediatric exams encountered, tricks for scanning as well as discussing the most common pathologies.
Live scanning will be conducted throughout the day.

Sara is currently the Chief Sonographer at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne where she has worked for over 20 years after returning home from working at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.
Since returning she has tried her hand at many varied roles in sonography including women’s imaging and corporate applications but the call of paediatric sonography is all too compelling.
Her hot topics are paediatric hip, liver transplantation and sonographer education.
