Queensland Branch | Interesting Case Night | 1 Apr

The ASA Queensland Branch warmly invites you to an evening of socialising and learning.

Come along to the ASA case study night and share a recent examination that has fascinated or taught you something new. This is a great opportunity for students and novice presenters to hone their skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Attendance without presenting is also welcome.

Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Prize: ASA members are offered a 30% discount to the ASA annual conference for the best case study. (Other presenters who submit an oral or poster presentation or present at the national conference are eligible for a discount on the conference registration.).

Guidelines for presenting a case study:

• Presentations should be kept to 7 slides in 7 minutes
• Ensure patient ID is removed from images and clips
• A suggested presentation structure includes: title, patient history, images/clips highlighting key learning points, patient follow-up/outcomes
• Presentations should be uploaded to a USB and it is also recommended that images are accessible offline on another device in case of technical issues
