Ask an Expert

Ask An Expert is an exclusive member-only portal for sonographers to ask our ASA Special Interest Groups a clinical question and receive an answer direct to your inbox. 

How it works 

To ask a question, simply login to your ASA Account, on the dashboard is an icon “Ask an Expert”. Click on the icon and ask your question in the comment box provided.  

Your question will then be answered by the relevant stream SIG committee your question pertains to. The answer will be sent to your email inbox as well as saved history under “My Questions” on your ASA dashboard.  

Login to your ASA Account and ask your first question.

ASA’s expert sonographers will be answering clinical questions and questions on professional topics.  

Who are the experts? 

Our experts comprise of all of our Special Interest Group Committees. 

How long until I receive an answer? 

Members will receive an answer within 7 days.

Can students ask a question? 

ASA’s Ask an Expert is for qualified sonographers who have a question for a specialised sonographers in their field. Student sonographers should refer their questions to their clinical supervisor or university supervisors.
