Peter Eades
Peter has been a Cardiac Physiologist for more than 30 years and first picked up an echo transducer 25 years ago. He has worked in the UK, NZ and Australia. He is currently the head Cardiac Sonographer at Qld X-Ray and was previously the Technical Services Manager at Genesiscare. He has presented to groups of both students and supervisors on how the best outcomes can be gained from practical training.
Stacey Hatcher
Stacey Hatcher is the Clinical Applications Specialist for Philips Cardiac Ultrasound covering Victoria and Tasmania. With qualifications in Biomedical Science (Bond University), Medical Laboratory (RMIT) and Cardiac Ultrasound (QUT), Stacey has built her career on helping all Sonographers and Doctors get the most from their ultrasound system. Stacey has over 15years experience in cardiac ultrasound and is always happy to help people with their echo questions.
Ruth Ramm
Ruth Ramm is the Director of Echo Ed. Ruth gained her adult Echocardiography training and held the position of Chief Cardiac Scientist at the Wesley Private Hospital (1995 – 2007) under the supervision of Professor Greg Scalia. She moved over to the Mater Children’s Hospital, Brisbane in February 2008 to further her paediatric knowledge and Echocardiography skills.
Nikki Rathbone
Nikki Rathbone is the Physiotherapy Clinical Supervisor at the Brisbane Health Clinic located in Indooroopilly, Brisbane. She has over 11 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist in private practice, hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, chronic multidisciplinary pain management programs and as team Physiotherapist in the elite sporting environment. Nikki is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist holding both a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. She has been involved in the APA for over 8 years sitting on various committees and is a current member of the APA QLD Branch Council.
