The Australasian Sonographers Association is pleased to bring a day of Paediatric Ultrasound to Darwin in conjunction with the ASA Darwin Branch Committee.
This live scanning event is presented by Glenda McLean and will cover paediatric hips, cranial and spine and more. Glenda has worked as a research lead, clinical lead and tutor sonographer for over 30 years. She has specialised in the area of paediatric sonography while working in a tertiary paediatric hospital.
Registration opens at 8.30am and the event concludes at 3.00pm. Morning tea and a light lunch are included.

Glenda McLean has worked as a research lead, clinical lead and tutor sonographer for over 30 years. She has specialised in the area of paediatric sonography while working in a tertiary paediatric hospital. She taught the paediatric subject of the post-graduate course at Monash University for seven years and has published a number of papers on paediatric ultrasound. Her main area of interest and the topic of her current PhD studies is ‘Cranial ultrasound screening of preterm neonates’. She is a Fellow of the ASA and on the Editorial Board of the Sonography journal.
