Mr Greg Lammers
Sonographer IMED Radiology

Greg Lammers has been scanning since 1989 with time spent working in London from 1990 – 1994. He has held several positions as a Lead Sonographer, Tutor, University Lecturer and DMU Examiner. Greg regularly presents at local, state, national and international meetings. In 2014 he did charity work in Myanmar (Burma) training Doctors in the use of ultrasound in local villages. His last 20 years has seen him specialise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, its science but also its craft and looking for good patient outcomes. In over 30 years of scanning, his passion has not waned and he still finds this an amazing and privileged career. He presently works for I-MED Radiology in Pakenham as a general sonographer.

Mr Andrew Grant
Ultrasound Supervisor – IMED East Melbourne Radiology

Andrew Grant completed radiography training in 1992 and since then has ventured to multiple countries sharing his expertise in sonography and radiography. Andrew is a regular presenter on MSK, vascular, paediatrics and general anatomy both here in Australia and internationally. Besides his skills in ultrasound imaging, Andrew also holds a commercial pilot’s license which he has used to fly in and out of remote communities, establishing a strong presence as a flying sonographer. Andrew has also worked for one of the top medical centres in western USA, UCLA Medical Centre, where he assisted in setting up the musculoskeletal ultrasound program. Andrew recently completed his Master of Medical Sonography at UniSA and now practices at I-Med East Melbourne Radiology where he is the Ultrasound Supervisor.

Dr Michelle Fenech
Senior Lecturer & Head Of Course Post Graduate Medical Sonography

Michelle has a passion for musculoskeletal ultrasound and is currently the chair of the ASA MSK Special Interest Group (SIG).  She is a senior lecturer and head of course of post graduate Medical Sonography studies at Central Queensland University.  She has developed and teaches advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound units which are part of the Master of Medical Ultrasound course.  Michelle also has a passion for teaching and researching structural anatomy.  She has worked clinically in both private and public sectors and with the Department of Defence and currently mentors’ sonographers in musculoskeletal ultrasound at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital. She has undertaken and continues to undertake research studies with a musculoskeletal ultrasound, anatomical and teaching focus.

Dr Daniel Walkley
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound through the University of South Australia. Additionally, he possesses a Doctor of Philosophy through Charles Sturt University on the topic of Achilles tendinopathy ultrasound assessment and management. He has been an invited speaker for national and international conferences and collaborates with medical teams to provide imaging and management advice to world-class athletes. Daniel has a passion for musculoskeletal ultrasound and is currently working in Fowler Simmons Radiology, Adelaide. Along with this clinical work, he provides educational content for MSK Australia and the MSK Ultrasound Academy.
