The Australasian Sonographers Association is pleased to bring a Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Travelling Workshop to Adelaide.
This live scanning event is kindly presented by Jacqueline Roots.
Registration opens at 8.30am with introductions at 8.45am and the event concludes at 3.00pm. Morning tea and a light lunch are included.

Live scanning will be carried out throughout the day by Jacqui Roots and will include examining the shoulder, knee and hip, and how to extend each of these assessments.

Jacqui is a Senior Sonographer, PhD Candidate and Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology. Her research project is on Shear Wave Elastography to Assess the Stiffness of Muscles in the Acute Stage Post Stroke.
She is passionate about musculoskeletal ultrasound and the advancement of technology to improve the diagnostic accuracy of medical imaging leading to her involvement as a member of the ASA MSK SIG and Emerging Technologies SIG. Jacqui has worked in public and private, including tertiary hospitals in the NHS but is currently focusing on her research and has published a few papers and reviewed even more.
When she is not sitting in front of an ultrasound machine, Jacqui enjoys roasting marshmallows on a campfire, falling off wakeboards and wearing Wing Defence or Wing Attack netball bibs.
