For the new medicare item number, there has to be known or suspected endometriosis, adenomyosis, PID, Plvic congestions or pelvic floor problems.
The referral does not need to state these conditions provided that there is known or suspected from patient history or noticed when you scan. If the GP is after a range of conditions and you meet the minimum scanning requirements you can bill this code :)
