About the role

Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to perform vascular duplex ultrasounds and other non-invasive physiological vascular investigations on inpatients and outpatients at the Vascular Surgery Department’s Vascular Laboratory at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.

About you

This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health’s values

Demonstrate well-developed clinical knowledge, skills and expertise in vascular sonography and other non-invasive physiological testing to provide high level services to the patients of the Vascular Surgery Department and perform vascular investigations.

Utilise a high level of professional judgement and problem solving in clinical decision-making to deliver evidence based clinical practice for routine to complex cases with a high degree of independence.

Participate in the performance appraisal and professional development of team members by providing clinical practice supervision, guidance and/or education to HP3 level practitioners and students as required.

Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team and in quality and service improvement activities as an advanced vascular sonographer.
