About the Organisation & Role

Join a well-regarded healthcare provider in regional Victoria, delivering essential health services to a diverse community. As a Grade 3 Sonographer, you will play a critical role in delivering ultrasound services across a broad case mix, including general, vascular, MSK, obstetrics and gynaecology, and small parts.

Description

Operating Monday to Friday (8:30am–5pm), with no on-call requirement, this position offers a collaborative team environment alongside two qualified sonographers and on-site radiologists. Working in a hospital-based setting, you’ll manage a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases with designated scan times of 30–60 minutes, supported by state-of-the-art equipment (two Philips EPIQ ELITES and one Philips ELITE). Accommodation options can be provided if needed, with flexibility to arrange your own with a per-day rate reimbursement.

The Criteria

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • A post-graduate qualification in ultrasound (e.g., DMU or graduate diploma).
  • Australian Sonographer Association Registry (ASAR) registration.
  • Demonstrated competency across key areas of ultrasound.
  • Proficiency in time management, effective communication, and professionalism.
  • Desirable 5+ years of post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in CT and/or X-Ray.
  • AHPRA registration and Victorian Radiation Use Licence.
  • Other requirements include a current police check, Working with Children Check, immunisation records, and a Victorian Driver’s Licence.
