Description

The role is suitable for a general or vascular sonographer and is clinical in nature in that the sonographer will assist during the procedures which include ultrasound guided sclerotherapy and endovenous laser ablation. The role will also involve ultrasound mapping of veins pre procedure and post procedure check up examinations.

Previous experience with these procedures is welcome but not entirely necessary as there will be a period of overlap with the current sonographer who is pleased to provide training to the new candidate. The current sonographer has been at the practice since it was first established in 2004 and is happy to share her wealth of knowledge and experience. The clinic provides a warm and friendly environment and the new candidate will become a part of our close-knit team.

Appointments are well-spaced and hours and days are flexible. Although we are a busy clinic, the emphasis is on quality rather than quantity. The clinic is open Mondays to Thursdays. The candidate should have full ASAR registration and be eligible to work in Australia. They should possess a keen interest to learn and expand their skills and should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
